Dr. Victoria Young, O.D. received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of California, Davis. She then graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO). Before returning to California to practice optometry, she worked as a Pediatric instructor at UHCO.
Dr. Young has been practicing in Sacramento Valley and the Bay Area since 1991 in a variety of settings: commercial, corporate health, and mainly private practice. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Sacramento Valley Optometric Association. While working in Santa Clara County at the Optometric Society, she served as one of the MCT coordinators helping to organize a vision screening program for thousands of kindergarteners in the area. Outside of work, Dr. Young enjoys spending time with her children, extended family, and friends. She also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, and going to the beach.
